Intensification of wastewater treatment plants, sewerage and drinking water supply in the Trenčín region

The large-scale project Intensification of WWTP, sewerage and drinking water supply in the Trenčín region was implemented by Trenčianske vodárne a kanalizácie, a.s. in the years 2013 – 2015.

Within the framework of this project, it was possible to reconstruct four wastewater treatment plants, build one new treatment plant and also to complete the missing sewerage or water supply in many villages in the region of our jurisdiction.

Thanks to the scale of the project and the modern technologies and materials used, the invaluable result of this project is, in particular, a higher quality of water and environment throughout the region and thus a higher quality of life for all its inhabitants.

Technologically, it was necessary to provide the following components:

• Connection to the 22kV power distribution system and voltage transformation to 400V
• Electrical wiring and switchboards
• Supply and installation of technological equipment for pumping and wastewater treatment
• Supply and connection of measuring and analytical instruments
• Local control systems and local control rooms (SCADA)
• Camera system, communication system, building security

TRELLIS’ role consisted of preparing the implementation project, preparing the actual implementation, managing the implementation, programming the control and SCADA, providing comprehensive testing, documentation and handover of the work.
