Groundwater level reduction system in the construction area of the new JaguarLand-Rover Nitra plant

During the construction of the Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia production plant in Nitra, we provided a comprehensive design of the groundwater level reduction system in the construction area.

This project included preparation for planning permission and preparation of the detailed design, supply of controls for 38 pumping wells and 2 pumping stations, construction of a fibre optic and communications network, supply of a remote access control room and operation of the pumping and control room.

Jaguar Land Rover has invested €1.3 billion to launch a highly digitised and automated plant in Nitra. The Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia plant opened in 2018, with a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year. The production program consists of Land Rover Discovery and Land Rover Defender models by 2030, the factory is to switch to a portfolio of electric vehicles.
